So - why join the CIE?

Membership is a great way to rub shoulders with some of the finest engineers and academics in the Teesside area. Meetings are always lively and interesting, with the opportunity to learn from (and challenge!) the opinions of leading industry figures in the area.

New graduates and young engineers are always most welcome, and for those whose work has moved them into the Teesside area it is a great way to meet new people.

Summary of Benefits:

  1. attendance at lectures counts towards accreditation for Chartered Engineer Status
  2. attendees get to meet engineers and scientists from different companies and academia to discuss areas of common technical interest
  3. the lectures are wide ranging and may give new ideas that can be applied back to your own job
