How to Join Us
MEMBERSHIP
Application for Membership of the Institution may be made by any person connected with or interested in Engineering or Kindred Sciences. Applications will be considered by the CIE Council before acceptance.

OBJECTS
  1. The promotion by periodic meetings, visits to works, or by any other means, of interest in and the discussion of subjects connected with Engineering or Kindred Sciences.
  2. The furtherance in Engineering in any of its applications.
MEETINGS
Meetings are held on published dates from October through to May. They take the form of visits to sites of local scientific or engineering significance, more formal lectures, or events of a more social nature (the lectures are accredited with the IOM3 for CPD points. Meetings are held at a range of venues in the Teesside area.

Membership Classes and Subscriptions:
  1. Full Member (60 yrs and under) £5 (Under 35 yrs first year free)
  2. Life Member £60
  3. Senior Member No Subscription

SUBSCRIPTION DUE on ELECTION & 1st JULY thereafter, payable to the Cleveland Institution of Engineers
STANDING ORDER FORMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PAYMENT OF ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS.

To apply for membership please contact the CIE Administrator by e-mail and ask for an application form.

Once your membership has been accepted, details about Institution events will be sent to you on a regular basis.
